Ten Patterns of Paragraph Development

Here`s the key how to develop yourself in making paragraph

Here are some important modes of paragraph development

In order to easily remember and understand how to write an effective meaningful paragraph. i`ll give you a burger to guide you :D

  • The bun -introduction and topic statement
  • The meat -the supporting arguments for your paragraph
  • The bun -the conclusion (which restates the topic statement)

For me this is the simplest pattern in making a paragraph. If you wish to have a cheesy meaty and meaningful paragraph. here`s another burger for you.

What I have learned so far ! ..

The goal of our subject, Reading and Writing in discipline is to help us to make an effective essay. So the lessons begins with the basic, basic because in English basic is very important, how to make a phrase, next how to make a simple sentence and so fort. It just like a review for us to improve out writing skill and in just four days of meeting, the lessons we learned from the past came back. So I was so happy because I learned a lot of things like about the GRAMMATICAL HIERARCHY. We had a recap about the four king of Sentences the DECLARATIVE, the TYPES OF SENTENCES, the SIMPLE SENTENCE which contains only ONE INDEPENDENT CLAUSE, COMPOUND SENTENCE which contains TWO OR MORE INDEPENDENT CLAUSE, COMPLEX SENTENCE which contains ONE INDEPENDENT CLAUSE AND ONE DEPENDENT CLAUSE and lastly is the COMPOUND COMPLEX SENTENCE WHICH CONTAINS TWO OR MORE INDEPENDENT CLAUSES AND TWO OR MORE DEPENDENT CLAUSES: I learned about

F-or
A-nd
N-or
B-ut
O-r
Y-et
S-o

and the proper use of these coordinating conjunction, which use in compound sentences. I also learned the use of these  conjunctive adverbial

H-owever
O-therwise
T-herefore
S-similarly
H-ence
O-n the other hand
T-hus
C-onsquently
A-lso
T-hen

to join two independent clauses to make a compound sentence and on the other day i learned the acronym

B-efore
A-fter
B-efore
E-ven though
S-ince
P-rovided that
L-est
I-f
T-ghough/till
E-ven if
N-evertheless
D-espite/Inspite of
S-upposing

to make compound complex sentence and last topic we had is the seven sentence of patterns

1.Subject Verb
He Ran
They Talk

2.Subject Verb Direct Object
Jedii Loved Amhir
Amhir Killed Don Gomez

3.Subject Transitive Verb Indirect Object
He Told Her a lie
It caused them fear

4.Subject Linking Predicate Nominative
"El Cid" is an epic
Amhir was a Hero

5.Subject Linking Verb Predicate Adjective

6.Subject Transitive Verb Direct Obj. Complement
